023 - Going to the FBI National Academy: Ryan Miller
Show Notes

Today I'm talking to Major Ryan Miller from the Overland Park Kansas Police Department.  Ryan just returned home a few months ago from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  The National Academy is an executive leadership training program for law enforcement professionals and Ryan is going to give us a look inside to see what the "NA" is all about.

Listen to what he says about the selection process, the weekend field trips, what an average day of classes looks like, and the physical fitness tests and requirements.   You will especially want to hear about the famous "yellow brick road" obstacle course.

If you think your career might take you to top levels of law enforcement leadership, the FBI National Academy might be part of your preparations for that goal.
