Today we talk to Ward Jenkins, when he experiences the devastating loss of his partner being killed in the line of duty. We talk about the the closeness of law enforcement partners, the abuse of alcohol, and Ward's physical and spiritual recovery from this. We also talk about what leads a retired LAPD cop to move to the midwest to begin helping other cops.

Obviously the murder of a fellow cop is sensitive subject; be assured that we don't dwell on it long. Listener discretion is advised.
