You would think that the year you become police chief would not only be the apex of your career but also probably one of the best years overall of your entire life. But unforeseen difficulties and tragedies could make it one of the hardest years and this is exactly what happened to my guest today, Tim Eggebraaten.
Tim was a small town police officer nestled among the countless beautiful lakes of Minnesota. He talks about all the great law enforcement experiences that kept him in that small town but he also reveals the struggles he had and the difficulties he faced maintaining his peace of mind as he ascended to the role of Police Chief. Then, unexpectedly, that first year as Chief became his hardest year yet. Listen to how Tim managed to get through this dark time and come out the other side able to see the beauty that life holds.
