Show Notes

Today I am talking to Ginger Howell.  Ginger was a police chaplain with the Harris County, TX Sheriff's Office and experienced the line of duty deaths of multiple co-workers, which led to her involvement with Concerns Of Police Survivors.  Concerns of Police Survivors, or C.O.P.S., is an organization that provides crucial support to family members of those killed in the line of duty.

Ginger continued that work when she moved to the state of Nevada, now serving as a chaplain with the C.O.P.S. chapter in Northern Nevada.  I wanted to ask her about some of the services that C.O.P.S. provides including retreats for survivors and support for families of the victim during a murder trial.  Listen closely, she is a veteran police chaplain and passionate advocate for Concerns Of Police Survivors.
