Show Notes

So, Today I am talking to Ron Miller.  Ron was the police chief in both Kansas City and Topeka, Kansas before being appointed by then president Barrack Obama as the U.S. Marshal for the district court in the state of Kansas.  Ron has an encyclopedic knowledge of law enforcement and has been a great resource for me learning how law enforcement really works.  Today I've narrowed down the topic to just his current job: the U.S. Marshals Service.

Listen to Ron explain the nomenclature of who is a marshal and who is a deputy marshal and make sure you catch everything he says as he goes through all the different missions and roles that the Marshals participate in.  I love talking to someone like Ron, because without any notes in front of him, he can just lean back and lay out the entire picture, teaching and explaining exactly how the U.S. Marshals fit into the bigger law enforcement picture.

Music is by Chris Haugen from the YouTube Audio Library.
